YUAN COASTAL RESEARCH LAB

我于2021年10月正式入职清华大学水利系水力学研究所，任教研系列副教授、博士生导师。我的课题组的研究着眼于海岸工程领域内的热点问题，包括岸滩侵蚀、海岸带防灾、近岸植被等。通过将水工实验与高仿真数值模拟相结合，探索各种流体现象的物理机制。在此基础上，开发简单且实际的理论或经验模型，以用于大尺度数值模拟或工程应用。

Yuan coastal research lab studies the physical processes related to various coastal engineering problems, such as beach erosion, coastal protection, aquatic vegetation. We combine laboratory experiments and high-fidelity numerical simulations to study the fundamental fluid-mechanics problems. We also develop simple-yet-realistic theoretical or empirical models for engineering applications.
